A Little Hell on Earth

A week of vacation was just what the doctor ordered! Got some Pokémon'ing in. Got some Dragon Age 2 in. Organized the office a bit. But one of the most important things to note: I'm building again.

I grabbed a kit at random. This one is the Deathscythe Endless Waltz Version ( not the Hell Custom ). The navy blue and yellow were a bit gross, so I went with black and gold. The photo is terrible because my setup isn't quite finished and the pose is lame because it's pearl coat is drying. So expect more photos later.

I hand painted this kit. I don't have the space / setup yet to spray paint or airbrush. I took it out onto my balcony to apply the pearl coat. I'm sure my neighbors were amused. The whole painting setup is in the works but I'm waiting on my tax return to get the final pieces together. Just a little longer!

I forgot how much I hate 1/100 scale sometimes. These pieces were fucking tiny. I'm considering breaking out the 00 Raiser or Zeta Gundam for my next kit just to take some time with painting and weathering. I didn't do weathering on this kit because the Wing Gundams are there to be pretty, not useful. I guess I could say the exact same thing for the 00 Raiser, so let's go with Zeta. That machine had some milage for sure!

I also forgot how much building and painting makes the stress and worries just melt away. It was incredibly helpful with all of the things going on with me lately. Serenity now! :D

Anyway, once I get better photos, expect them!

Cheers,
Eric
