So this is most of a summary of my thoughts / plans for my apartment. I thought I'd share it and use it as a reference for later.

Currently I have the smaller bedroom as my sleeping area. I would like to keep it that way.

The larger bedroom is the office / workspace. I wanted to get ceiling to floor shelving in the office on the two parallel long walls with a 60" wide alcove on each wall to house my desk and on the opposite wall, a futon. These alcoves will also need to be around 6' - 7' tall as well.
